I have a Dell XPS Laptop someone wants me to fix with massive screen errors. It loooks as if the GPU has overheated and there are squares, colored dots, etc. all over the place and even in the BIOS, they are present. I cant get into Windows because the screen goes blank after it loads and the only way in is thru safe mode. To me it sounds like the GPU had overheated. I've seen videos on Youtube where they melt the saulders back in place. Would this method work with the problem that this XPS has?
