People really aren't this stupid, are they?

I don't have any problems with Android being sluggish. The vast majority don't.

I mean as a Java programmer I can hate on Java all I want. Let me tell you that Java does not belong in a super performance based environment like an OS UI. It's great for everything else though.

I can take any Android phone all I want and display the same thing.

Thunderbolt, Droid X2, Incredible 2, LG Revolution, Samsung Charge, Facinate etc. Take your pick, my friends have all of them.

Also have fun closing programs and freezing. And don't lie I see it happen with my own eyes every now and then.

Anyway I still like Android reasonably well. It's still a strong OS with a lot of features.

Understandable. I'd rather see less of a "OMG, a different android device, we need to sandbag releasing an app for that specific device because it's not a cookie-cutter copy, ZOMG, DRM issues, dubyatefff??" response to releasing android apps. Seriously, it's absurd that netflix and hulu apps have been so delayed for some very popular android devices because the dev's need to excessively evaluate possible DRM issues with the hardware (i.e., make sure it's not too easy for a user to obtain the material). I'm not saying it's easy to deal with so many different hardware versions running, but it would be nice to have a proportional response relative to the size of the userbase.

There is nothing not standard about a USB stick.

Funny, my Thunderbolt zooms just as quickly as the focus in that video, its already common knowledge the Atrix was a big dissapointment when it comes to performance. I've had zero issues with Android being sluggish sorry to say. Though the Atrix is so loaded with bloatware that doesn't help either.

Interesting. I'm using my moms thunderbolt as we speak. Just doesn't have the speed and flow like the Windows Phone does. Just saying. Android is still a good OS though.

Go be a tool in another thread.

In my experience, all of the major phone OSs are plenty snappy.
