For full disclosure.... the writer of the article works for The Heartland Insitute.

They use to work with the tabacco industry to discredit the health risks of second handsmoke. Furthermore, they have already taken the stance that global warming is questionable. The bias of the author is blantant.

You're saying a peer-reviewed article is biased? Isn't that a bit like saying black is white?

Personally, I don't truly believe that the earth will ever stop changing; believing that we can ever stop it is fallacy.

This article stands to provide more evidence for Global Warming. There was MORE energy released. That meant it was hotter, but then that was already known. I don't know if I'd hype this data too much. The true Global Warmer freaks out there will be screaming it in the streets.

There would need to be studies done on the heat stored vrs the heat released. A 5% increase in heat released could be a by-product of a 20% increase in stored heat.

but again...could be...probably...might be. the increase in temp could be global warming or it could be natural phenomon. The Global Warming side seems to have the most evidence...but far from enough to make it even into the probable theory area. So only time will tell.

Meh, NASA also stated that in 2012 we WILL have a major solar storm that's going to pretty much damage all technology on the planet anyways. last time this happened was early 1900's. It didn't cause panic or anything since our technology wasn't evolved enough for it to matter. However today is a different story.

Eitherway, next year will be very interesting.

Sounds to me like hes saying the article about the peer-reviewed article is biased at least to some extent, which to me is clear based on how many times they used the word "alarmist" lol.
I wondered why the last 3 winters have been getting progressively colder.

Last winter was a 1 degree shy of being the coldest temperature ever recorded here.

I was thinking the same thing when I read it.

I then kind of realized that really, that might be the most politically correct way of labeling the groups that were "alarmed" about global warming.

...But c'mon, how many times can you use "alarmist's computer models" in one story?
