what is the best gaming mouse for under $40 shipped?

post #1 of 11
Thread Starter
im looking for a mouse that allows me to make accurate sniper shots by clicking a button (similar to the rat 5 and 7). the intellimouse doesn't allow me to do that. when making tiny movements it skips several pixels on the monitor.

Just lower your sensitivity to setting when you'll be comfortable with accurate aiming wink.gif .

I believe the OP wants a mouse with a on-the-fly DPI changer.

X5 is not a bad choice but not many can get use to the wideness of the mouse. I personally use the X5 for work.

@vltor:
You take a look at Logitech G500 or G9x as they have extra buttons just for changing DPI on-the-fly. G500 = palm grip. G9x = Claw grip.
Both go for cheap @ Logitech form their ever so often dented box sale.

It's a pity there no dented box sale in Singapore, I would so get them despite having alot of mices already.

Gigabyte M6900

Don't know if it's the best under $40, but really nice for under $30...

400-3200 DPI sensitivity, 3 DPI selector swicth...each DPI setting adjustable through software.

Have seen reviews complaining about the size but I do not feel it...don't think I have overlarge hands....

Prepared to be amazed (if your a claw gripper that is). CM Storm Spawn (best sensor as of right now) with shipping is only $40+$1 ground shipping in the US I think: http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?p=MS-20MLON1&c=fr&pid=191e7aedd04252418a614f3d31453b760b1792718ecb9faf81158463779d81ae

Superbiiz is pretty reliable, since it has 1000+ google shopping ratings. If your not a claw gripper, then get a mx518. You can prob find one at best buy or online for less than $40.
