5870X Fire or 1 6950?

Okay, I am debating adding another 5870 to my set up, or just going with a single one of these

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150549

I want better video performance over my single card, but Im thinking Im held back by my psu. Here is my setup

x6 1100t @ 4ghz
4gb gskill ripjaws @ 1620mhz
corsair tx750w power supply
1 WD velociraptor and 1 samsung 1tb hard drive
cd/rw drive
corsair h50
xfx 5870

Would adding a second card to that supply be too much for it?

that 750 will push it with zero problems. I run a nearly identical set-up with no issues. Most everyone over-estimates the amount of wattage they need because they listen to the people trying to sell them power supplies. I thoroughly researched my psu before I bought it to make sure it would run dual 6970's and it 1000% will. You have nothing to worry about.

second question....i cant find 5870's anywhere. can I crossfire it with a different card? If so, whats best?

5850 or 5970. Both can crossfire w/ 5870.

is your 5870 a 2gb or 1gb, and if 1gb - is it a reference model?

Its 1gb...and I cant adjust voltage on it, so that would mean non reference right? what does that mean for xfiring it with a different card then?

5870 vs a Non-unlocked 6950 is only about a 10% performance increase at best, I know since i just went from one.

Though 6950's do Crossfire scale Much better, nearly 100% vs 50-70% on the 5870.

You can find 5870's used sometimes but most of the reasonably priced new ones (I saw some go for 160$ ) are all gone. 5970 are extremely expensive since they are desirable for bitcoin mining and 5850's are also pretty rare due to their desirableness with bitcoin mining.
