Edit: never mind im dumb i forgot to plug in my keyboard.

Okay, same problem occurs after i resetted the cmos. I changed all the settings the way it was working before and there's still a black screen when it tries to load in windows

did you actually press reset cmos or did you just change all the settings back to stock? There IS a difference.

I actually pressed the reset cmos button. Yet it still doesn't work.

try doing it again but with ram in a different order. And dont change any settings in the BIOS. Are you using the same ram? Not mixed ram? Some ram might have different timings and voltages.

I've been using the same ram, but i haven't tried it in a different order. As of now im only trying to use 2GB of ram and there both Corsair and both are the same model.

Edit: Also my heatsink is blocking my first two dimm thats why im using the 3rd and 4th dimm.

Check your mobo manual, but some boards get really picky about what slots you put RAM in.

Okay, turns out 2 gb of my ram is bad, also I think I had a virus on my hard drive so I reformatted everything and it seems to work great now. I just have to find 4gb of ram now lol
