GT 430 Youtube videos slow to load?

Hey all. I am having problems with a low budget build for an everyday non-power user. It will be used primarily for creating Powerpoint and Word docs, and cruising Facebook and Youtube. The rig is brand new and runs just fine, I have the latest drivers installed from Nvidia, and the internet connection is 34Mbps down / 7Mbps up.

For some reason when watching Youtube videos it has to keep buffering even when watching in 480p. Forget about 720 or 1080 as it will not even play without having to pause the video for a minute or more just to watch a few seconds. like I said, this is a brand new build so Flash is updated, and I tried using both Firefox and Chrome and both give the same performance.

Any help with what might be wrong would be greatly appreciated. I never had this issue before with Youtube. I did try Hulu and there seems to be no problems at all, but I really need to get this YouTube issue out of the way before I give it to the customer.

Your internet connection is running slow, not the GT 430.

Not that at all. This is my internets just now:

Perhaps you mean it is my network adapter or a port that needs to be open?

Your computer is obviously broken.

I know my provider limits youtube. i watch them squeeze packets off at me.but i cant DL everything else just fine.

pretty funny how these providers are so against streaming.

and btw, we have the same provider.

I don't think it is the hardware because everything else just flies. And as for the ISP, the other computers on the network can play 1080 from Youtube practically streaming with this connection, so that is not it.

You don't need a discrete GPU to steam youtube videos. You don't even need to have hardware acceleration enabled.

Are you certain you had nothing else running in the background at the time? Usually if your internet connection is fast enough (yours should be) buffering isn't even necessary.

Have you tried someone else's connection? Were you or someone downloading something else at the same time?

Sometimes, YouTube videos take a while to load for me as well, and I have a 5Mbit/s down connection.

This is a brand new build running W7 Home premium x64. There is practically nothing installed, except MSE and the usual updates.

And believe me, I know that Youtube shouldn't need practically any resources at all to run well. That is why I am so damn confused. It should just work.

EDIT: I'm gonna go check for any weird processes running and reinstall flash.

i get lots of delayed packets when streaming any video. everything else is low latency
even pinging youtube.com. Its the video thats sluggish getting to me.

does gpuz state that the 430 has a video engine in sensors?

predominant problems with no hardware decoding cards. maybe related?
