I wouldn't replace the CF3 with Ceramique. The CF3 is really good. Not Shin Etsu, but still very good.

Ya it is staying I know it has good contact by the 20C temp drop over the h-50, did a little homework it is a good paste I just didn't like how runny it was I prefer a thicker paste myself.

Has anyone lapped their Silver Arrow?
Is it worth it?

I've tried finding some Before&After tests.. can't find any.

(I've got all I need for lapping it. 400,600,800,1200?, 1500,2000 and possibly some 2500.)

If you lap it the silver arrow club will disown you! lol no they won't but I think were all waiting for someone to "ruin" their shiny new cooler to see if it does anything. (I know mine will never see sandpaper)

That base isn't going to stay shiny for long. Give it a few mounts or just time.

A good lap job will be just as shiny but also flat. I know that both my True and HR-03 were very uneven.

Not going to polish it for an hour or two for 2C drop(i'd add a third fan it would be easier)

Thats fine but other people might want to do that considering how much they already spent for a 2c drop from other cheaper, smaller coolers.

Yes if this was a CM 212+ i'd be polishing that lil guy for a couple hours, but there is nothing small or cheap about the silver arrow .
