Within the last 2 years, I've found new respect for G.Skill memory! They have gone above and beyond others!

The G.Skill is a better deal, with better timings.

Timing 7-8-7-24-2N

Voltage 1.35V

I have two sets of these, great ram & OC quite well, with nice low voltage.
Read some of the reviews. They also do 1T/N at those timing well or the ones I do will.

Besides, as much as G.Skill has gained my respect, Corsair has given me doubts!

Also low profile! Very important for those with oversized cpu coolers!

Although overclocking memory is pretty much pointless, unless your running memory benchmarks, you won't see any performance gain in real world apps, or day to day operations.
The extra 133MHz that you'd get with 1833MHz memory, would be noticed less than the lower timings.

I would also say these reviews count for something!

Ya glad you said that! I forgot too. Fit well under a Mega or True Black when using push/pull fan setup.

Yep, not to many good quality low profile ram modules anymore.
I like your thinking TheWolf!

rep +1 from me!

i was reading the ram 101 and it says looser timing for better performance of the cpu fsb?.

But isnt this pointless in SB with a k processor because changing the multiplier?

Yes, your correct, using the multiplier to overclock, only overclocks your cpu.

Also, from what I've read, the Sandy Bridge cpu's do best, with DDR3-1600, which usually have pretty good timings to start off with, and Intel recommends memory that operates with 1.5 volts (for 32nm cpu's), although the safe max is 1.65 volt memory.
