Am I "mostly" stable?

I was using intel burn test. I went away for a few hours so I left it run 30 times. Said success. All results are the same. All the time is within 2 seconds of each pass. And the Gflops speed all seem to be 20. Is this doing okay?

12 hours of Prime small fft. or 24hours of small fft if you fold. That will tell you if you are rock solid stable.

Well honestly i have passed intel burn test for 20 to 30 passes and have had it fail within a minute in prime large ffts.
Try large fft for 30 min and see if it holds up.
But imo most will agree that you should run prime at least 6-8 hours.

If you get unusually low GFlops with Linpack restart the test, sometimes it gets bugged and doesn't run properly, when that happens you'll notice much cooler CPU temps and lower GFlops than a normal run.

Stability is really how you define it. If you're stable doing the things you use your PC for then its stable for your uses. Usually 50 runs of Linpack with all memory and 24hrs of Prime blend is considered generally stable. Just keep an eye on temps and make sure they're reasonable before you do long runs or overnight runs unattended.

Probably but... theres always a but...

The purists will ask to see a min of 12 hrs Prime95.

IBT is pretty hard on clocks so if it was going to go bad, it would have errored within 15min.

Game on and see how it goes... you should be okay. What Vcore are you on with your CPU?

My sig is wrong. I'm just trying to get something stable if I can because nothing seems to be. I stuck it at 1.35. 1.45 is max before degradtion and what not.

Well what I did is I ran IBT a ton of times. And left up Second LIfe. Which seems to be my favorite tester because it's coding sucks butt and it crashes within 15 minutes. Like just disappeared.

But when I got back another stupid driver error, error communicating with OpenGL or something. I hate this 275.33 driver it screws up sooo much.

Then what CPU are you running and how much RAM? E8400's are pretty robust but if your not running that chip, thats info we need to know.

Try LinX and Prime... dont test overclocks on online games. They are unreliable at best. Crysis etc are fine but... Second Life?

My sig is right about the hardware not the clocks tho. It's basically a tiny step up from generic ram. Made by Avant. One stick is older than the other same model tho. I think one was running different timings or my mobo was being stupid. But It seems it helped a lot when I locked the ram to -6-6-12. Have not changed the ram clock. It won't post if I do.

Just recently I noticed TF2 keeps crashing. Altho it was just updated so I don't know if Valve released a bad update or it's my stupid drivers being idiot.

Okay... Not as simple as first appeared...way too many variables coming in now. Lets go back to basics...

CPU - test with LinX and Prime95 for >12hrs
RAM - Run MEMtest. Run memtest first and make sure your ram is okay.
GPU - if its OCed, set it to stock clocks.
