4850 fan dying?

Thread Starter
Not sure what's going on, exactly. I gave my friend my old ATI 4850 when I got both of my 5850s since he needed a GPU. Well, he's been using it for about a year and now something's not quite right.

The temperatures were pretty high for awhile, so I took the fan/heatsink off and gave it a great cleaning. I also took the old (almost non-existent) TIM off and replaced it with AC-MX2. However, the card reaches temperatures of around 99c and rising when playing video games.

The fan appears to be spinning, but I'm not sure if it's performing the way it should be.

Should I try and RMA it?
