Why did you get it in the 1st place?

because at that time i needed a computer cuz i didnt have one

i got he pc near the end of january lol almost 7 months ago (face palm)

There's some good advice (albeit there are some unhelpful posts) in this thread but you don't seem to want to take heed of any of it. There's a reason why some people are advising against the purchase of some of the things you have listed.

Judging by what you've said so far, it seems like you've already decided that you want to purchase all of the parts listed on the original post, so I don't really know what else you're looking for. All you asked in the original post is what we think of the proposed build. Some people approve of the APU build, some don't, and that's pretty much all that can come of this thread. If the APU build is something that would make you happy, then our opinions shouldn't matter.

My personal stance is that it would be kind of a waste of money since you already have a pretty awesome computer. However if you are dead set on building another pc around the A8-3850, then I say go for it. Just do one last check to make sure everything is compatible with each other and that there won't be any fitting issues regarding the case/heatsink/ram/etc.

Good luck with the build.

I honestly dont get your logic here. Why wouldnt you keep the PC that you have? I dont understand why you would want a massive downgrade from what you already have. Especially when it will end up costing you more..

If you are going to post here on OCN, you should be open to suggestions. Trust me, people here really know what they're talking about.

I honestly think that you will be disappointed with an APU. They aren't meant for gaming, no matter what you say. They are for HTPCs and General use.

I also think that the CPU cooler you chose is completely ridiculous, It looks like it will tear the socket right out of the motherboard as soon as you mount it. It also doesnt have any fans, so there isn't any way to get rid of heat once its in the heatsink.

All in all, you would be much better just sticking with the current PC you have, because it is MUCH better. But, you make your own decisions, so i hope you are happy with your build.

1.no cuz its 65 pounds.
2. i got banned on some game stie so i need a new harddrive/mobo/new internet router+change ip to ban evade.
3.its to heavy to brg to lans.
4.i want a this pc in my thread cuz its gonna look way sexyer then the one im using now
5.losing performance? i dont really know what performance is but EVERY pc. ive ever use is the SAME thing and runs the same and feels the same.
6.this pc takes up way to much space
7.the case has to much air ventilation and fans and i get a lot of dust inside.
8. i just want a small pc thats white case to match my dusk.
9.the pc i want in this thread is actually gonna be a lot better not really the video card and the cpu i'll over clock it to 3.50GHz (theres a video on youtube how to get it up to that) ssd,ram mobo i'll be better.
10. i just want it lol

11."I honestly think that you will be disappointed with an APU. They aren't meant for gaming, no matter what you say. They are for HTPCs and General use." i wont be disappointed beacuse i dont play a lot of games only counter strike 1.6, maplestory and diablo 3 if it ever comes out. and the pc will cost cheaper then my old one

12.the heatsink is fking sexy looking it is a must have (i hope they release it) but for now i'll have to get a cpu cooler that works with my mobo.

13.i wanna start playing in a league for cs 1.6 and im banned so i need to ban evade (needs new harddrive mobo and internet router)

14.i dont know why but everytime i turn on my pc my whole room is HOT its like 30c and inside my pc its 45-50c so i need to get a air conditioner >< man my pc sucks up so much air and makes my room hot

--BASICALLY long story short i just want to make a new computer just a pc thats right for me like a apu and i would really like to get rid of my old pc and sell it and make a few dollors off it. and i think apus are good cuz they can run games fine and they are not used for high end gaming and im not a high end gamer. i used pcs for youtube, movies ,shows ,por* lol and a little gaming so ya why not a a apu it saves money it saves me A LOT of money cuz i know i KNOW if i play games like crazy like those high end gamers i would get a video card thats gonna be about $300+ and must look cool cuz im into looks.

b4 i get this pc im getting a air conditioner
