Okay, so I found the CLR_CMOS header, now what do I need to do with it?
EDIT: I looked at a video and there the header had 3 pins and the person removed a top and moved it down a pin. Mine only has two pins and no top...? =/ EDIT 2: Doing some more reading in the manual it seems like I can touch the two pins with a screwdriver to short them, let's give it a try. *crosses fingers* EDIT 3: PHEW! It booted. Thank you all for the quick responses! I'll be sure to leave rep. ![]() EDIT 4: Well, I tried 4.0 GHz (ignoring "djk11"'s advice) and it froze at the motherboard logo screen, heh. Cleared CMOS again and just kept it at default and it gave me a "BOOTMGR missing" error, but I found the solution for that online. |

Keep trying to OC.
