You should be able to max it out with another 560. That's with AA and AF off or on low settings of course, they are very dependent on vram.

You are right, it could be super optimized, or not, we'll have to wait and see...

you will max BF3 out with no AA no problems , overclock your 560ti abit to 570 levels and you will be fine .

people over exagerate abit , my 6970 will kick ass in this game im sure even with 4x AA i think it will hold up fine .

get Sli 560ti's if you want fullscreen AA , maximum details @ 60fps .

If your happy with no AA , your 560ti will be fine .

If you want max AA (guessing its gonna be 32xCSAA like BC2) your gonna need another card, if you dont care about AA then you should be fine.

I'm not sure how demanding BF3 will be when it's released...but with dual gtx465 overclocked, an i7 950 @ 4.2ghz and 6gb DDR3 1,600mhz I get 35fps at the best of times in 1080p on the 'high' setting in alpha. I have to set my resolution to 1366x788 for a playable experience...and by that I mean about 35-45fps...in the subway it goes up to 80 or so.

Just to give an example of my computers potential..I can max out Metro2033 and get 55 average in the bench and I'm sure we all know how demanding that is. There isn't a single game I can't max out and play smoothly. In BC2 I get well over 150fps..so...

I just hope it's a driver issue alpha thing...

We can't discuss the Alpha outside the Official forums, but I can tell you it is a driver issue and Nvidia has to fix it soon, because I get lot more than that (55-90fps @ 1080p @ High) on a single HD6970 and about 60-150fps on both HD6970's (Crossfire still needs to be optimized, it doesn't scale that well, it is almost the same with 1 card).

So yeah, I wouldn't worry about it, once proper drivers are out you should be easily at the +60fps range.

Nobody knows. Right now I get 45-70fps in the alpha at high settings in 1080p. Smooth as hell. However, this is the alpha, so there should be more optimization. BUT, also keep in mind that the visuals are toned down. If they still have to add some DX11 effects, AA, better shadows/lighting, etc., then I imagine my 45-70 frame-rate will drop significantly. I just hope the additional optimization and new visuals cancel each other out. I'm probably gonna grab another 570 just to ensure max settings, 60fps, 1080p, etc.

It'll be very playable on a 560ti (especially OC'd), but "max" may require a beast depending on your definition of max.
