i got the zalman 5.1 headset.

they are comfy and fit nicely. there are 2 options for this headset, usb and audio jacks. i got the one with the audio jacks.

the seround sound is brilliant and i can not play with any other headset when i am gaming as it will play the proper location of te person.

and the headset is cheap as well.

Ughh.. please don't get a "real" surround headset. Terrrrible for music, mediocre for gaming.

From what I heard, don't these have similar drivers to HD555? If so, I might have to check these out.

Same drivers, different sound. The PC350s are closed, making them sound a little hollow, and lessening the soundstage. Also generally considered to be less comfortable than their HD counterparts. The PC360s are considerably better.

For a budget of around $70, there's not a whole lot of choice...

Off the top of my head:

- Razer Carcharias
- SteelSeries Siberia V2 (I think these are $75 on Amazon)
- Corsair HS1A
- AKG GHS1
- Creative Tactic3D Sigma (don't get the Alpha...the Sigma is newer and fixes a bunch of problems the Alpha had)

Of all those, I would take the Siberia V2's if you can spring the extra $5. They're very comfy and the sound quality is pretty good for a headset. The Carcharias would be 2nd for me.
