Need Laptop for gaming, £600 Budget.

What is your maximum budget? Around £600 GBP

What country are you in? UK

What will be the uses of this laptop? Gaming, Internet, Bit of video editing, MS Office.

Do you have brand loyalty or care which brands we select for you? None, bad experience with acer but will try them again if i need to, Dell laptops seem good for gaming.

What screen size do you require? Bigger the better

What screen resolution do you require? 1366x768 is the most common so that would be good but like before, bigger the better

Are you looking to buy NEW or would refurbished/recertified/used be okay? Preferably new, if its good i may get a refurbished.

How long should the battery last? (Under optimal conditions, no movies/games/heavy internet): around 4 hours minimum.

What games would you like to play with your laptop? And on what settings? Call of duty and Wow on high, maybe Crysis 2 on at least medium

What operating system do you need? (if any) Windows 7 but i dont need an OS. If its cheaper ill go without one.

Is there a certain style of laptop you want? (aluminum, black, gaming, etc.): None

How much hard drive space do you need? 250GB Minimum

Do you need any special hardware? (blue ray, webcam, specialty ports, etc.): Nope, USB obviously, most come with a webcam, that would be good. Prefeably blu ray but not bothered if it doesnt, i still have my ps3.

Is there anything else we need to know? 600.00 Budget. Around 620.00 if i can order on Amazon. The best i've been able to find are these two:

which has a NVIDIA GT 525M. (Whats the desktop equivalent?)

and

this with a 540M but a slightly smaller HDD.

Thanks guys. Going to order in a few hours hopefully

The laptop from hot uk deals looks like it could be the best one for your budget. The desktop equivalent for the 540m would be the GT430 desktop GPU. It should still be powerful enough to run the games you mentioned on medium/ high settings.
For example this video shows it playing Modern Warfare 2 on extra graphic settings -

Videos also exist of Crysis 2 running on this laptop.
