Hello I'm new here help please

Thread Starter
Hello Im new and iv always wondered if it's possible to increase my dedicated VRAM from 64MB (which i I've now) to something higher. I have a integrated intel hd graphics with core i3 2.53 GHz so I'm guessing the graphics are with the CPU. Please reply if it's possible, I have looked in the bios and no sign of changing the dedicated VRAM.

Thanks in advance

Hey mate. Bad news:
1.If there's no way to allocate in the BIOS more RAM, then it's not doable; one possible way would be if you'd add more RAM on the motherboard - maybe Vram is set in stone in the BIOS thru a ratio from the total RAM, so for example doubling RAM would double Vram; this solution isn't optimal as for this price you could get a decent discrete graphics card with at least 51MB Vram.
2.Even if you could, it wouldn't help you. In essence the iGP inside the pre-Sandy Bridge Intel chips is so slow that it wouldn't know what to do with more RAM.
