Choosing the right crossfire setup

Alright, after lots of talking to myself and looking at benchmarks, I think the best choice would to be either

- run my 5870 and spend $200 on that extra boost by buying the 5850 and hope when running my games in eyefinity I get a smoother frame rate

or

- hope some smart person comes along with an affordable solution.

I have chosen the 5850 because I can find them for around the $200 mark where as the only 5870s I'm finding these days are over $400 (in australia)

opinions?

I ran a 5970 with a 5850 and it gave a nice boost in performance and scaled great.

If you get a 5850 for a good price, then go for it.
