They are trying to compete with Razor in the cheap plastic over priced peripherals market.

My thoughts exactly. The prices are way too high. I had Razer and Logitech peripherals and they both crapped out on me. Then I got the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 and it's the best mouse and keyboard I have ever used. It's all marketing with this "gaming peripherals". Or you have the skill, or you dont. Its all practice, no equipment will make you better instantly

They need to start focusing on quality and higher standards instead of meeting current standards. They need to pushing the new frontier. I have LOTS of their products but, yes i have been switching unconsciously. Just got a razer mouse, a different keyboard, less use of my z-5500's. Its pretty simple too see what to fix when you are at a consumer standpoint. I hope they fix their ****, i still <3 them

What they did to the original g15 is a travesty.

Lets make a successful product, kill it. Bring it back, but redesign it and split it into 3 different market segments, instead of just bringing back the original awesome product.

I preferred flip up screen that was adjustable to height, to the fixed angle that I can't read.

I've had my MX518 for 3.5 years I think and it's still working great. Best mouse I ever used. they should go back to producing quality products like this.

Incoming Newegg extreme sale on Logitech gear...

I need new flying controls. Any one know if Logitech makes a decent joystick these days?

Yeah I think the MX-518 are still one of the better mice to have. I've only just replaced mine with a MS Sidewinder X8, but I really didn't need to. the X8 was just very cheap and a cordless mouse is nice some times.

My only beef with the MX-518 is the fact that they purposely made it look all beat up, why? Works great though.

I really hope they turn this around. I love Logitech products but recently have been disappointed. Main reason I have not bought any new Logitech products recently.

Anymore? They were ALWAYS pieces of junk.

Besides, it's their entire corporate mentality that's screwing them right now. Their Harmony remotes have had the same bugs for years now, and no matter how many new models come out they don't fix anything. Their speakers are garbage. Their keyboards are garbage. The only things they have going for them are their mice, which have also started slipping in quality from what I hear.

You can only peddle shovelware for so long before it comes back to bite you in the ass.

I have used Logitech keyboards for years, never any issues, never had any issues with their speakers either. Have only used Logitech mice as well, in fact all are still working perfectly.

It is your opinion, but i just think you had bad luck and are still upset over it. just my opinion as well.

I have 3 (G5, G500, G9x) of their mice and one of their older 5.1 systems all have been great. I had a G15 it was a piece of garbage that me and my friend went in the back yard and smashed one day way back when lol!

Their Joystick is fail has nice rudder pedals but the stick and buttons are a joke. You could tell they had no idea what Flight Simmers wanted in a product.

Read that their newer sound systems are weak.
