[HC] Logitech Posts Dramatic Quarterly Loss, Starts Looking for new CEO - Page 3

It does seem their quality is not as good as years past, but i still have not had any problem with any of the currents products either. Have the G110 and the G9x and both have had no problems so far.

Other than their mice I've never had any good experiences with any of their other products.

It is your opinion, but i just think you had bad luck and are still upset over it. just my opinion as well.
I think you've just never used anything better, so you don't realize how crummy their products are. They have some good mice, but their speakers and keyboards are bad.

I'm not surprised. They've got a lot of competition!

People bashing Logitech need to stop, they do make some nice products and they aren't expensive, so the trash talk is rather unwarranted.

Just because you prefer one brand or type of product over all others doesn't mean everyone hates Logitech, so stop.

Logitech makes my favorite keyboard & mouse, and I've tried a lot in my 25+ years in computing thank you very much...

Just because they are Swiss means nothing, the Swiss make some very fine products indeed!

It's not a matter of having explicit issues with something. Just because you bought something that hasn't broken in 3 years doesn't mean it was worth it in the first place necessarily.

I find this funny because he wasn't addressing a post you made, but you had to jump in to Logitech defense.

My G9's cord broke (the wires inside) due to the G9 not having one of those cord bending suppressor sleeve at the opening of the mouse to the cable.

I call this an oversight, that mouse I loved to death(literally), the best mouse I ever had. But I won't buy another logitech mouse.

I have people saying that they own the G19 KB and they say they are the best I laugh, why you ask, they are a rubber dome and the price.

Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard-$165.00

A useless LCD (because we all look at our KB while playing games)
Macro buttons

My (orded) WASD custom KB-$173.00

with custom keykap colours and Key inscriptions
With Cherry blue mechanical swithces, Inc shipping and insurance from the US to Australia

For $8.00 more I am getting a custom KB.

I didn't mean bad quality as in they break a lot, I mean you pay high prices for nothing. Kind of like if you spent $100,000 on a Toyota. Sure, they're reliable as all hell, but with that sort of money you should be buying a Mercedes.

Just because they're your favorite that doesn't mean that they're high quality. Going back to the car analogy - you could love your Ford Focus to death, but that doesn't make it better than a BMW M6.

And they are expensive. Just look at the G- keyboards. I'd be willing to bet that they've got at least an 80% profit margin on those things.

If they're your favorite then it shouldn't matter what I or anyone else says, you should use them and enjoy using them. But they're still only average, if not below average in quality (not all their products, but the bulk of them).
