HWLabs GTX 360

Thread Starter
Hi everyone,

After much thinking...I figured that I have 2 radiator options for now...

1. XSPC RX 360 and,

2. HWLabs GTX 360 rad

I am biased for the HWLabs radiator at the moment because of its build quality. However, what fans will I need to optimize the efficiency of this radiator?

Options

1. Scythe GT 1850rpm

2. Delta Fans @ 32dBA and 62CFM

3. Protechnic PWM Fan, 39dBA, 80 CFM and 2,500rpm

OR

just use the XSPC RX 360?

- If you guys can recommend other fans for my HWLabs GTX 360...I'll be happy to hear them!

- Better still if you can give me the url...I'll figure a way to ship them to Singapore

THANKS!

If you want uncover the full potential of the GTX 360 you will need to look at 2000+ RPM fans; this also translates into more noise. I use Delta AFB1212VHE's on both my GTX 360's and they're definitely loud at full blast.

For low noise, a RX 360 with 6 GT-15's in push-pull makes a perfect setup.

1. GT 1850 for sure!

I have both XSPC and HWlab SR-1 360 rads. I found that all my XSPC rads are impossible to fully clean. I'm talking at least 75 boiling water flushes... Also someone said their RMA is great??? They wont even respond to my email.

I decided to get SR-1. Not nearly as bad to clean and can perform almost as good as XSPCs.

My heart is with the XSPC RX360, it's performance is unbelievable and have never had a problem with mine.

The matte black finish is also gorgeous.

If you can't find AP-15's and can't wait a great alternative is buying AP-29's and running them on a fan controller. Under volting them will run you at AP-15 sound if that's what you're looking for.

Thanks everyone!

So sorry for my late reply as I'm in different timezone (GMT +8) from most of you (I presume) and was busy all day.

To Drakez:

Yep, I know about Edge2O. The boss (kenneth) is like the watercooling guru over here and is also a moderator on 1 of our Singaporean IT forums. All of his 360 radiators will only be available after mid - end August

To everyone else:

Seems like we are on a draw / tie here (sorry I'm not certain on the terms you guy use)

but I like the suggestion given by Necrodox.

Now where do I buy the AP-29?

I think I will just do a coin toss if nothing else works

Also, RMA is going to be important for me as the shipping costs = a bomb and I'm in a different timezone which means mega email delays

Finally, how about Rosewill or Yate Loon Fans? I can purchase Yate Loons from my local watercooling store while I can ship Rosewill from Newegg via Singapore Post..

Thanks!

dint he gave u the answer and oso the chart?

he has a spare rx360 lying ard. asked him about it.

ap15 is the best around. u cant go wrong. stick with rx. niceday oredi got the distributorship for the ap15 if im not wrong..wait for them to release to market..

if u cannot wait for ap15, get yate loon..cheap and good..if u get gtx, get the high speed, if rx360, get the medium or low..
