I always clear cmos when problems start happening.

sounds odd, you didn't flash but just went stock and getting problems.

I would start looking into the bios, sounds like you have a HDD priority or sata controller problem. and like said before AHCI?!

could always press F11 when booting and select a device to boot.

Nope never had that issue with just restoring to the default settings.

Might try a reflash or other BIOS version. I have seen the BIOS get in a "stupid loop" where changing BIOS settings does NOT actually make the change even though it shows that it made the change in the BIOS, so maybe that's what is happening?

Love this Mobo.!

its a decent mobo, it went through several days of crunching non stop and the vrms didn't throttle once at full load overclocked.

its been through hell and back with my overclocking and benching, but just wasn't enough to push 1.7v and more!

You need to work to pay for all of those PC toys you keep buying! wink.gif

well I was working until my foot messed up and got bronchitis so im out of work for a while which means no money, but lots more benching...

bitter sweet life biggrin.gif

Updating the BIOS for This mobo makes BF4 work alot better and fixes the new crashes on firefox from 7970's, quite a few people were messed up from t he beta drivers.
