Man, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has been thinking about this. Couldn't they just make room for two extra cores by removing the IGP? Screw integrated graphics. That's what retired graphics cards are used for.

It appears from the Pictures that there will be LGA1155 Ivy Bridge available in Dual Core and Quad Core.
