From the images on page 1 it looks like the U.K. is a total rip off for internet.

£28 get's me 40Megabit down and 2Megabit up. In reality it's impossible because the max profile is 37,717Kilobits.

Anyway I get 120GB total monthly usage + between midnight and 8 in the morning none of the usage counts towards the monthly total.

Also I get all my traffic uncapped and prioritized this is an extra £5 a month but because I do a lot of gaming seamed necessary.

The thing I like about my ISP (Internode) is that there's no peak/off peak bullcrap. You just get data. I pay $10 extra per month for a static IP (I sometimes host a gameserver for friends), uploads aren't counted towards my quota and so on. Pretty good deal.

I pay roughly $43 for 32/1.2, Considering there is a monopoly in my area. It is pretty good. In addition, they used to have a cap but thanks to some citizens and a petition they got rid of it! horray!

**** me, 61MBs in Japan. Time to consider making some location and life changes after I gradudate.

England (UK) has been one of the weakest countries in terms of technology development and for me it sucks living here because of it. We get screwed out of everything.

The problem with getting a proper ISP is that it won't be profitable. There are not enough people that would be interested in having a ISP that is faster and does not overcharge to hell and back. People just simply don't care.
