990x cpu is overrated, 2600k is faster and much cheaper

Well just an update on the build... Everything was going fantastic until the worst happened. As far as I can tell my video card fried itself. The computer boots and works great with any other video card. It is a little weird because that and the power supply are the only parts I did not replace. I ordered a new EVGA GTX 570 and I'm in the process of sending the broken one back. If anyone has any ideas of a way to revive it please let me know =p. I have attached a picture of the build. I'm keeping it as clean as possible.

Any advice/comments would be greatly appreciated. Also, thank you for the nice welcome!
