Here are two versions of the same set "The Main and The Best ENB by Gionight" is the main version you should install ,
in case if you want to try second version with more aggressive contrast you need to copy/past from "ENB With More Aggressive Contrast" folder to GTA4 main folder 3 files only, and thats it .
I also suggest you to use DKT new road texture, here is the link: http://www.mediafire.com/?yffi90a9bzniw87

Those top two shots look like that technique where the modders just snap a picture of a window (or whatever), slap that on a flat surface as a material, and it looks photorealistic at a distance, under the right lighting conditions.

Now, run up close to that window, switch viewing angles, or modify its lighting... Not so nice.

With that card and SuperSampling turn on, I don't think so, you need at least gtx 460 to run it at 30 fps.

tubers>>>>>>

Gta4 with ENB works worser on ATI cards , sad but true, but I think you can run it at 30 fps .

MACH1NE>>>>>>

You need to have GTA 4 1.0.4.0 to play it with ENB.

With supersampling, your basically running the game greater than the current resolution, and downscaling it. This smoothed out textures and gives it a nice clean look, however, even with my 580 gtx lightning with supersaming and ssao turned on, i average 29 fps at 1920x1080. Personally, the difference with it on isn't that blatantly noticeable. Heck, my fps shoots back up to 50 fps with it off.

Than you should turn off SSAO, You need SLI to run it With it on, I have 1680/1050 3d monitor and can play it with SSAO at 45 fps, the greater the res the slower SSAO becomes.
BTW in my set I have SSAO turned off , you really don't need it.

Sadly gta 4 is one of those games that don't utilize sli. Heck in some cases, attempting to sli or crossfire hampers performance for this game. Without any means of anti aliasing, the game will appear rigid and coarse. I'm not sure if force anti aliasing works, but for some reason, I don't notice a performance drop with ssao on. I'm running the game on max excluding water because it looks awful if you do. Changing the colorpow setting in the ini makes this game look better IMO. And obv, running the game in a lower resolution increases fps. It's just runnig this game at 3840x2160 (super sampling) and downscaling it is absurd. I tried editing the sampling multiplier so it would scale it at a lower value, but i dont notice a difference with it on or off.So I chose not to turn it on. the game peaks at 55 and has lows of 45 fps with supersampling off.
