I use this car pack and haven't had any "taxi cab glitch," though I don't really know what glitch you're referring to.

gio how do u install road textures is it a boot able iso or just copy to a certain folder.also what mod to spawn cars and whats the best car pack in your opinion?

The road texture mod is a single img file that you just throw into your pc/data/maps folder if I remember correctly.

You need to replace this image file to existed one in this directory Grand Theft Auto IV/pc/data/cdimages.
Than open archive from that 5mb or 85mb download links, copy/past all files from "Gionight's BEST ENB/ ENB The Main and The Best by Gionight" folder, to the main game folder with replaces if needed, also Put "dsound.dll" and "xlive.dll" in the main GTA 4 folder to make ENB to work, from "Gionight's BEST ENB/dsound.dll , xlive.dll" folder.
When you have done like written above:
In commandline.txt write multiplied by 2 your monitor resolution , also change resolution in "enbseries.ini" if you gona play with ENB AA (Supersampling), now you may start playing if your PC can handle it
in a 85mb archive there are all mods that i'm using cars, weapons, sound, clothing, camera , and you must read README.txt I explained everything that you will need


I don't recommend you and others to use this kind of packs with so much cars, they 100% will mess up your game, performance and so on .

cant get trainer to work i'm patched to 1.0.4 and installed your mod gio looks great. is your mod compatible with a trainer? ive been fighting it for 2 hours. goes to the mission load screen and crashes right before mission.

ok gio about to test now, lets see if your mod can go mobile (on my notebook)

edit: ok so cant get it working. first time, i double my monitor res (1920x1080) in the commandline.txt, then in enbseries.ini i had it @ 1920x1080. so it launched but nothing fit on the screen, i had to CTRL-ALT-DEL to get out.

so next i put that same doubled res 3840x2160 in both commandline and enbseries, and i get the "D3D Fatal Error: Please Reboot System" message.

i removed the force screen refresh, and i set fresh to 60 instead of 50 as that is my monitor setting.

any help?

set this to your monitor resolution in "enbseries.ini"
DisplayWidth= *
DisplayHeight= *

and write in commandline.txt double figures like this 3840x2160, but you should install this set on your desktop , laptops can't handle it.

cool thanks ill try it tomorrow.

but i think i might wait til i get home next week, save this for my desktop. leave Steam at the current version, since the mods work for that, just no visual mods.

and then install the disc version of gta4 to 1.0.4.0 and use Gio's ENB mod on my desktop, which has more power.
