Do I just rename that infernus.wtd file again to bugatti after the "import"?

I already have an Xbox 360 wireless controller. Is there way I can use that with the game? I would assume some sort of wireless dongle/device would be needed. Any link(s)?
My guess is yes, just rename the file back to Bugatti Veyron or whatever you want. I could be wrong. Always backup before trying.

Theoretical way of adding new cars: haven't been able to confirm if it works or not.

If you already have a wireless controller, you'd have to spend a pretty penny on the wireless receiver. ~$30, which is what a new wired controller would cost you and I'd go for a wired controller instead.

I really don't understand what you mean by details and why do you need before pics . Did you sow this game in stock graphic ?

tpi2007>>>>>
Start main screen always will be 4 time bigger than your native res, but ingame menu must be in normal size , you did something wrong if the screen didn't scaled down to your native resolution .
The game looks good but just not as good as the pics being posted. The cars look great, especially the ferrari. *DROOL* Your pics show depth but Im mainly just seeing a ton of saturation. Even though the walls are 2d, yours look a lot better.

Let me get the menu screen to work again so I can address the graphics menu.

as for the renaming of cars, no you cant rename those files, as Spark wont let you add them in just like there, theres a whole separate procedure for "adding" cars to the game as opposed to replacing.

as for getting the cars' real names, i wanna do this too and from memory with the other GTA games from GTAIII onwards, there was a certain file you had to edit that stored car names.

it was just one line to edit and the game always read the car name from that file, so it worked fine, could name them whatever you wanted.

im gonna look into it now

So I'm finally up and running with Icenhancer 1.2.5. It's SO worth the headache of learning how to mod the game correctly. I downgraded my Steam install to 1.0.4.0, installed Icenhancer 1.2.5, and a few other mods I wanted. If anyone needs help I'm now available to help.

Is it worth downgrading to 1.0.4? I'm on 1.0.7 (steam version) and it's looking pretty good with ICEnhancer, but not as good as some of these screenshots(keeping in mind I have no texture mods). Is it the lack of high res textures or is it because of not having the right version?

Still having trouble with the menu's not working. Gonna give it one last install then I'm moving to iCEnhancer.

yeah its worth downgrading, its something to do with the new shaders that came with the update to 1.0.7.0 i think. 1.0.7.0 looks a lot more grainy and less defined that 1.0.4.0 so it is worth the downgrade but imo bit of a pain the in the arse, and you cant go online or anything with the older version.

im lucky coz i have both retail and steam versions (damn you steam sales) so im keeping my steam version @ 1.0.7.0 and up to date, and im gonna keep the retail version @ 1.0.4.0 coz its easier to just install the 1.0.4.0 patch over the retail version.

Ah, ok. I have the retail version from way back as well so I might install it just for the modding side of it(I have 2TB now so I don't really need to worry about it being so big now ). The down side? My DVD drive is dead
