if i upped the voltage at all, would that help lower the temps in any way. (im thinking there is a happy spot where if clocked to high and the v is to low it would get warmer as its not getting enough juice.)

edit: whew for some reason I saw only one post to begin with. Maybe it isnt the "golden CPU" I was expecting a bit lower temps from it is all.

Clock speed has nothing to do with the temperature, voltage does. Increasing the voltage would INCREASE the temperature, as decreasing would DECREASE the temperature.

That's why it's always best to go as low as you can go before you start BSODing.

That is what I was assuming, but I wasnt sure if there was some type of happy medium.

Ill have to give it ago in a bit, or later tonight.
