What is recommended for gtx560Ti* HELP PLZ

Thread Starter
hi guys, im overclocking my gtx560Ti with msi afterburner

i wanted to know for those of u that have a gtx560Ti, what are ur core clocks/shader clocks/mem clocks and voltage...

also, another question... if u go to high on the shader/core clocks, does it actually perform worse?? or is the only thing from stopping me from maxxing the mhz the heat of the card? thx

mine: 966/1932/2164 voltage: 1087

*1 more question> i hear a lot of people say that their shader/core clocks are 1ghz, but do the actually mean EXACTLY 1000mhz, or are they saying that as an estimation?

I'm at 1000 core with 1.11

The only thing that can hurt your card is too much voltage and heat.
EDIT: It's exact 1000 core/2000 shaders

ok.......so the higher the mhz, the better.....NO MATTER WHAT??confused.gif

and the more mhz u use, the more voltage is needed?

I don't know, you can call it whatever you want. Say you have 999mhz, then 99% of people will call it 1000mhz/1ghz.

Guess it depends on the person.

It really going to depend on your card. Some can get to 1k on core and 2k shaders, other cant get past 980 on core.

Try and keep your volts at or below 1.1v and the safe max temp on ref cards is 99c.
