i also get this:

Workload work failed with error message: eva::d3d11::rendering::scene_renderer::render(): draw_unshadowed_illumination_task for thread 0: File: device_context.cpp
Line: 515
Function: struct ID3D11CommandList *__cdecl eva::d3d11::deferred_device_context::do_finish_com mand_list(bool)

Expression: native()->FinishCommandList( restore_deferred_context_state, &result): DX11 call failed.

Device hung due to badly formed commands.
DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG: ID3D11DeviceContext::FinishCommandList:

Simple.
Your overclock is unstable.

But we do need what your system has in it to really tell you anything.

Need more volts. If that doesn't work then your card may just not be able to hit 1000mhz.
post #8 of 21
By unstable he means that your gpu can only operate up to a certain frquency until it will no longer work. Your gpu is going beyone this limit, and will start to have problems.

Btw, I really wouldn't overclock anything on an alienware, just because you really don't know about the oem parts in there. But A modest like 900 core overclock should be fine.

P.S. this is coming from someone who knows their pgu will operate at 1050mhz but instead goes at 1 ghz so I don't have to deal with instability.
