Im over my data cap for this month already, im at 4gb so far, and my speeds were lowered to 1-2Mbps from 4-7 Mbps. Its a difference but still usable. I use T-Mobile Unlimited btw.

Oh wow look at that well placed fail of an Advertisement.

Pro tip: If something is unlimited then its not restricted. What a joke.

true, but if you got them smart phone then you are required to pay that $10 prem data charge which will allow you to have unlimited data. but for a reg phone using 3g then you are cap @5gb.

The contract probably got in the terms of service that they can change the plan at any time with or without notice. At least you get notice.

Sad that any company will not just upgrade the infrastructure rather they will just throttle people so they don't need to upgrade.

I've never liked AT&T because they charge you a boat load of money for a modem ($80+) they offer absolutely not support for your modem (so you will buy theirs), plus you have to sign a one year contract. On top of that they do not support some Operating Systems, so if you don't have an up to date computer, guess what? Not their problem, you will have to pay for the new OS! (Have had 2 clients suffer from this after they signed the contract, talk about lame!) I think they want to spy on you, that's why "require" you to install software, well I'm not buying that either!

Their business tactics aren't shrewd they are absolutely asinine, I hope that this company gets what it deserves big time.

Any companies that wish to follow suit with AT&T will be at the top of the crap list with AT&T...

Go ahead throttle, lose more customers, they won't come back, believe me...

I don't see why people would want to pay all that money to use the internet only to have an ISP gouge them sideways, I really don't!

Enough about AT&T though, they will go down..
