Quality Keyboard Wristrest?

Thread Starter
I'm ordering this mechanical kb soon & love the minimalist design. However my old "COMP USA" wristrest just isn't going to cut it this time around. Anyone know of a company who makes quality, long-lasting wrist rests that i could order from? I don't visit any local PC stores anymore so i'd rather just order online.

Thank you

elitekeyboards.com sells some nice (from what I have heard) leather wrist wrests.

Oooo those do look nice. Probably would go right along with the elitekeyboards' keyboard i'm getting as well. The price is pretty steep though... better do my research !

Good luck man! Aside from those on EK I really have no idea where to say to look, so I wish you the best

On a side note, if you're coming from a rubber dome KB you should love how much better mech boards are. I recently switched from an old rubber board to a filco majestouch tenkeyless with brown switches and absolutely love it

Actually i 'am' coming straight from a lifetime of rubber dome usage ! I've been doing my research and they sound AMAZING. I really wanted a filco but they aren't available in the US apparently?!

However, the one i linked has brown switches as well. Being a gamer & typer i think those seem like they are the best of both worlds! Absolutely can't wait to 'feel' the difference. I still don't know if i'm going to get the 'blank' lettering or the one with lettering, i kind of think the blank looks sick!? & given that noone in my house is as hardcore of a typer as i am, i think it would be funny to watch them go "wait... where are the letters?" which may be followed by a "duh, i know em by heart" then i'd watch the typo's commence

I also recently had a thought that my keyboard was too *large* and given that i'm a top # presser, and never have been much of a 10-keyer... I think the 10-keyless design is nothing short of genius!

I think i'm gonna go with the wrist rest too --made in japan... with shoe leather?!!-- shine me up! << see what i did there?!

Is there any notable difference between the filco and the elitekeyboard keyboards?
The elitekeyboards is a leopold (just saying)

On a more serious note, the filco and leopold boards are very similar in quality with the filco being slightly higher quality. Honestly you and I both would probably have a hard time determining if there actually is a difference between the two. Maybe some keyboard guru could clarify the differences, but for the most part they are effectively "the same" although not quite if that makes any sense.

Get the leopold if the extra $40 for the filco is too much either way you will be happy with whichever keyboard you get.

Hopefully this helps in some way haha
