Crysis 2 is a very fun shooter and has a good story. The SP is a blast but has limited replay value ( only played through it twice ). The multi is very COD but with nano suit mods so its better than Black ops and is much harder to camp in.

Black Ops has a ton of perks, customization and game modes. Crysis 2 is nowhere near CoD in terms of multiplayer.

I liked the single player, it's worth a playthrough, the graphics are gorgeous, the music is awesome and there's plenty of action (even if the story makes little sense).

I wouldn't pay $50 for it though, more like $20.

I held off until it was $25 (now its a little less) I'm quite happy with it at this price.

My only complaint is that it doesn't require much thinking, there is only one path through it, you pretty much follow the path and keep firing.

Yup, I bought my key off CDKeysHere for ~$25 shortly after release. C2 is just another FPS with dumbed down controls. Has its moments. But not $60 worth of them.

I just finished playing Crysis 2 with the high res and DX11 packs installed, it's definitely a visual experience all gamers should see. Personally, I thought the game was much better than Cysis, which was really only hyped because it wasn't optimised properly so didn't run right and was therefore used to test performance - which is bent logic! Never bothered playing Warhead, as Crysis put me off it, which is why it's taken this long after release to play Crysis 2, glad I waited for the extra releases though.

As for the price, is any game worth paying that for?

Crysis 2 has 3 things going for it:

1: Looks amazing, really it just does.
2: Huge Levels, but sadly with linear progression.
3: Cool powers to exploit via the Nano suit

the bad thing about the game is:
1: Horrible narrative and dialog, i swear i almost stopped playing the game cause stupid general's dialog during the load screens.

bah and the MP was not really well implemented.
