Calibration questions for AW2310 owners

Thread Starter
I got my AW2310 and have some concerns with its settings. It seems that overdrive is only active while using the game or multimedia presets. This is a problem because 1. The response time is slower in any other preset because overdrive is not active 2. Even when dynamic contrast is turned off, I can see the screen still changing contrast when, for example, I switch between certain webpages or windows (this only happens in game or multimedia presets) 3. The colors are awful and I can't seem to find good settings/windows calibration that matches my calibrated custom rgb preset that I was using before noticing the slower response time.

Any other owners have any tips?

Also, does anyone know if there's a way to make an ICC profile out of the Nvidia desktop color settings or something? I can get the colors looking near perfect using the Nvidia desktop color settings, but they don't work while games are running in fullscreen apparently.

This review has calibrated settings, I don't own an AW2310 but you could try these out:

They're in the middle of the page.

Those are the settings I use, and everything looks perfect, but that's using the custom rgb preset. Since you only get the accelerated response time while using the multimedia or gaming color presets, I'm trying to find good settings for those. This seems to be overlooked in all of the reviews on the AW2310. Not to mention, if you do use one of those two presets, even if you turn dynamic contrast off, it still lingers. It doesn't auto adjust brightness/contrast slowly like when it's actually turned on - it's more instantaneous and really annoying. I'm really shocked reviews don't touch on any of this at all.

I use those settings and can use Overdrive. Under Color Settings I use RGB, Graphics, Custom(RGB). Overdrive is selectable under Display Settings while DCR is not.

Overdrive can be turned on/off no mater what preset you're using. Mine looks just like your screenshot. However, it's only actively running while you're in game or multimedia presets. It even says this when you go to turn it off. There is definitely a difference in response time when changing from gaming/multimedia to any other preset. When I get home from work, I may test this my camera and http://img1.lesnumeriques.com/pub/autopromo/Remanence17.html for actual proof.
