I'm talking about an obstacle free course through middle earth, 4 days is NOT alot, I'd always think that it'd take alot longer. 2 weeks was my personal conception after reading the books.

But maybe you're right and I'm just off, still surprisely little time it takes.

This does however take nothig from the feat that these guys made! It's absolutely amazing and I can't wait to explore the true middle earth
Well they said that walking from Hobbiton to the Mines of Moria takes 12 hours (or was it 6?), so it would take much longer walking the entire map.

Indeed to Moria is 6 hours and then he said 'across the map about 12 hours'.

So I think as Crazy9000 said, the map probably isn't finished yet and they've yet the rest to make. Could be true because one of the main feats that they probably would have showed off if they had it is minas tirith and Mordor itself.

But I am not sure because I also have skipped through the video.

It's cool but honestly even though I'm a pretty big LOTR fan, I don't recognize most locations.

EDIT: The screenshots are better in that respect http://www.minecraftmiddleearth.com/screenshots
