hah yeah i know it seems to look more red each day now, but it definitely looks black from indoor lighting and without the leds on.
thanks also, im trying to keep it as neat and tidy as possible, the tubes are really good and short so no mess its just the cables im having a nightmare with!

bad news, my dominator ram has died for no apparent reason.

not sure if i should get 6 x 2gb dominator gts or sell the mobo, cpu and water blocks so i can get x79.
what do you guys think? not sure how much i could sell this old classified for, plus cpu and dead ram and all blocks.

have all three sticks of your ram died at the same time? that is rare, if that is the case, I would guess it was your IMC on your CPU that died, not the ram.

you might be right actually. ive had alot of trouble overclocking for a while the volts have needed to be higher each time and i always get a bsod saying memory problem.
but i also got the yellow vram light on my motherboard so it could have been the dimm slots. is there any way of testing the componants without buying new parts?

Got kind of peed off with the cpu or memory problems (mainly because i was getting into skyrim lol)

so i felt like cutting stuff up and made this little vent cover.

wouldnt advise using a dremel on full speed cutting steel on a dining room table though...

tj07's spare junk is still handy to keep around smile.gif

the black looked good but it was one quick coat so it scratched really easily

wanted to match the mesh on the power supply, its the closes thing i had.

in other news, i cant get this rig running until i buy a new cpu or ram.
im hoping its just the cpu broken so when its operational i can sell all the:
water cooled mobo, ram and cpu as a bundle with the blocks.
just have to make sure its not the mobo or ram dead first when i can afford a new cpu :/
