but out of curiosity, what are the metals in your blocks/rads?

all blocks are nickel plated, not sure about the rads.
i got the black ice 360 stealth x flow and the black ice xtreme 480.
im guessing they are copper fins with brass ends.

I've only used silver with copper but I know silver tends to react with a bunch of metals. If the metal had an acid wash and you didn't fully wash it out, it could react with the silver? (rare chance) but I was just throwing it in for the chemistry side of things.

If you have build-up on any acrylic or tubing you can use a 1:3 concentration of an acid like lemon/lime juice to water. Let it sit for a while and then agitate it somehow. I used a small egg beater to basically turn the bucket into an ultrasonic cleaner

It is hard not to mix metals because most radiators are copper or brass core(brass has copper in it) but I would rinse everything really well and try it again. (Final rinse with DI / distilled water)

well if you're looking to clean tubes, you can "agitate" using a squeeqie that you use for paintball.
The barrel cleaners, you can find em at like wallmart and stuff for really cheap.

have messed around with tubing again and set up a ball valve because usually draining this system involves shaking the entire case over a bucket, this little add on should save me some energy.
