OK, my first MMO was SWG, and I loved both KOTOR games, so the idea of this game has me intrigued. I've looked at the editions, and while having the $150 to blow on the Collector's Edition would be sweet, I have decided against it, as I bought the Collector's Edition of City of Villains, and the physical extras are in a box, somewhere I don't even remember.

The Digital Deluxe version looks good, but is a considerable difference in price from the Standard version. However, the DD version has the STAP, which I think is pretty sweet. But is it worth the extra $20? Also, how does ordering on Origin work? I have never used it before, but assume it is similar to Steam?

So, I'm asking those of you who HAVE pre-ordered, as well as those of who who HAVEN'T, what your opinions are.

I will be adding a poll momentarily.

I personally scooped up the Digital Deluxe through Origin. They put a $5 charge on my credit card and will take the rest of the moneys when the game has been released. I'm not sure if the goodies are worth it either, but I can blow $20 on a ton of stuff, so it might as well be this game.

I hope its good... and I hope it holds my interest. I get burned out on MMOs periodically and have to put them down for a bit.

I'd recommend the digital deluxe. If SWTOR turns out to be the next WoW, the game very well may be popular and fun for the next 5-10 years. The collector edition items can only be obtained by preordering (speculation), so you might regret it 5-10 years from now.

Also, you could think of it as an investment if the game actually does become big. The collector edition pets from the vanilla version of WoW add a lot of value to those accounts when they're being sold

Well normally I'd recommend getting the Collector's Editions on this one... C'mon, this is STAR WARS man!!! (Pretty much a gold mine right there filled with diamonds).

But aside from that, I'm pretty sure you'll want the "digital extras" you get in the upgraded versions.

BTW.. I played SWG and CoH/CoV myself... and I'd hope that anything Star Wars would put out would far exceed what other companies do. Don't let one bad experience sour your view.

I voted Digital Deluxe because you get a mount. I've not played SWTOR (I'm not in beta), but generally in mmo's when you first start out you'll be poor and mounts are expensive, so it's a pretty awesome perk imo.

If your asking for opinions; I'm not even going to touch this game. Although I loved the originals KOTOR's, I find it complete and utter BS that they are going to be charging a monthly fee for this game.

I don't care so much about the extras. You will end up getting similar items just by playing the game anyway. Digital standard copy for me.
