I agree that they do get hot. My current sigrig is somewhere between 77-80c (when overclocked). But it idle's at 70-73, So it's not that bad. The overclock on my 9800m GTS is 700 Core/ 1750 Shader/ 888 Memory. Stock is 600 Core/ 1500 Shader/ 800 Memory. I still have some room on the shader & memory (I've seen some people with higher clocks, but the Core is maxed out).

Also whenever I play games, I have the laptop raised off the desk (with one of my daughters children's book ) to let the air circulate.

I've got a proper cooling pad for it, and a mini desk to sit it on since this laptops sole purpose is for me to raid and game from bed *cough lazy cough*
