Cant even do it on the Hawk which is the best air cooled 560ti. I do 1048mhz at max AB voltage which is 1.15V

I dunno about the 580, but the 560 can do it?

I did overclock the ram a little bit here though. I did make sure the 500 series load limiter was ticked off and heavy load was checked on.

I like doing gaming conservative and actual stability testing without overriding the bios fan control.

I did replace the thermal paste on this and lost a degree or two, but it still seems to run pretty hot for a 560ti.

It'll actually do the default clocks at 1.012v, but VID seems to be 1.062. I just leave it there as its too much hassle to worry about that small of a voltage change when all I want to do is turn on a game.

err// noob question !
Am running the TF3 ...
wondering whether attaching 2 x90mm fans will make much of a difference.. I have the room to spare, and can easily take the shroud, stock fans off..

The reason being-> My cooler's collecting a LOT of dust.. and I'd like nice temps when I'm away from the AC @ home .. ( live in a hostel)
Current temps are about 75C (occt) MAX .. I'd like to keep it that way but the cooler gets noisy as **

90 MM fans help much ? I'm talking Blademasters by CM ..
Also wondering whether they'd attach to the stock 4-pin PWM on the GFX card itself.. or will I have to use a Molex connector.. ?

You're hijacking my thread brah. not cool.

<3 hijacking (*THREADS**)

Anyhow , it's pretty related to cooling and seeing as we're dealing with the same thermal envelope . .. come on
Anyway .. 2x 90MM Blademasters seems bright ..
I'll start a new thread .. see what comes off it .. and let you know if there's something in it for you
