Corsair H100 Pics, Review, Benchmark! - Page 53

post #521 of 627
The fridge is louder than my machine and im running one H100 and one H70 plus a ton of fans. If the H100 pump runs your fans to loud then try putting the fans on a fan controller for lower rpm and use the pump as a auto fan controller.

Here is a few updated shots

@cravinmild

Are you using push/pull inside ?
Squinting my eyes to make sure.

yes i am. 4x 130cfm fans. Mostly run them at 1100rmp for almost silent operation. Still keep my oc 1055t (3.92) at 24c and loads at 40c. If i run the fans at 1600rmp i can drop idles to 17c and loads at 36c but at the cost of noise. I dont use the pump to control the fans instead using a seporate fancontroller for that and use the pump to control other fans in the system ie 2x 120mm mounted in the drivebay.

Heres a better pic, was a few weeks back i took this and have since used the 4x pump fan ports for addional fan control

H100 fans are defently loud. Even in a pretty closed case like the 800d its loud on medium setting.

lol i just got my h100 2 days ago and still playing around with overclocking. so far pretty happy. As for noise i run it with the 2 stock corsair fans on high plugged into mainboard fan headers as for some reason when i plug them into the corsair pump the fans only seem to run at around 1500rpm instead of 2600rpm? my old heatsink with a ultra kaze 3000rpm was about the same noise level and i have a HAF X case.

@EternalRest, SkullTrail: according to newegg, the H100 rad dimension is 122 x 275 x 27 mm. i think it will fit on the haf 912, i am not sure on the chaser. may need to do some measuring.
