issues with Rampage III Formula using C300 128GB SSD

Okay, not sure how this happened, worked perfectly fine for about 2 months

i had my C300 SSD connected to my red SATA 6gb/s and all of a sudden, the drive doesnt want to boot, i had gotten a blue screen shut down my computer turned it on and it doesnt show in the BIOS, but it does on my Marvell SATA screen

i thought the SSD had crapped out i bought another SSD and it didnt recognize it either, i plugged in c300 to a SATA II port and it works fine

i seen a couple threads like this but no real answer as to why, theres a reason i bought a SATA III board cause of the speed. i have updated all the firmware to no avail, ive never heard of a drive working for 2 months then stop but start working on an entirely different port

is it the Marvell controller? would i be better going to get a SATA III card?

Most likely the Marvell controller. I would just use the SATA II ports. If you really need/want SATA III ports maybe look at getting a good RAID card.
