Hi OCN! New WBs from EK - FC570 GTX SE & FC580 DCII

Hi. This is my first post on the OCN. I would like to present you our newest FC waterblocks from EK:

EK-FC570 GTX SE:
25th July 2011: Just finished testing and evaluating new waterblock, the EK-FC570 GTX SE (Second Edition). It is build for nVidia's latest PCB SKU (most of the time reffered to EVGA 570 HD). I'm very pleased with results, both thermal and hydraulic. EK-FC570 GTX SE has water flow over all four GPU VRM phases which have a positive effect on the cooling performance - the hottest spot of the card (measured with IR thermometer) on the backside of the PCB measured at mere ~ 54°C, PCB directly behind the mosfets ~ 45°C.

The waterblock should be available for purchase in early August (cca. 10-14 days).

The card with the block:

EK-FC580 DCII
29th July 2011 - The most bad-ass LN2 performer - the ASUS GeForce 580 GTX DirectCU II - gets it's own full-cover waterblock for the times when the card is not running tripple digits cold tongue.gif: Waterblock sports brass standoffs and is compatible with both 580- as well as 570 GTX graphics card (mounts with one less screw). It is a fairly high flow (low restriction) waterblock therefore it can be used with water cooling setups using weaker water pumps!

Best Regards,

Welcome to OCN! Awesome products you have there for playing around.
I would like to know how many will they cost (in Slovenia)?

Come over sometimes to slo-tech.com and present your tests to fellow citzens, I bet they want some of your hot stuff.

Nice! Thanks for posting this. Might get 2 blocks for my new 2.5GB 570's I got and water them. Fan noise from the HD cards is pretty damn loud...

@ EK Tiborrr,

I noticed that the tested blocks are copper, and the results look good, congratulations. Have you guys tested your "new" nickel plating process?

Sorry, no.

@theseekeroffun:
These prototype blocks come directly from the production to my desk therefor there is no time to apply finish. Both of these products will be available with our new electroless nickel plating finish.

hi Tiborrr, it's good to see an active presense for EK on these forums. I hope we see you in the future with more product releases smile.gif

Good to see a DCUII block. I was going to have some custom blocks made but I wouldn't mind having something that performs better and is a little cheaper (sorry bei fei).

When will these become available at retailers state-side?
