I would first check to see if your network adapter is working...

Right click My Computer
Select Properties
In the upper left click Device Manager
Look for Network Adapters

Look for any yellow triangle with an ! in it, which indicates a problem. Otherwise find your card in this category and see if it's operating properly.

A couple of other questions for you;

Have you ever had it wired to a network?
Have you ever gone into the network connection and change any settings?

Go to the Asus support site and download them from there if you can't find them from the manufacturer of the controller

Whew...I was gonna say...I've never had mine say that...must be really messed up...

If you can't download them now since you have no connectivity, do you know where your MB CD is? I would put it in and install from there. They might not be the most up-to-date drivers, but they should get you connected, then you can update once you can get online.

I just read on an ASUS forum that the motherboard didn't download and install the ethernet drivers automatically, so I guess that might be the problem? =)
