Make sure you move the jumper BACK to the original position with the battery inserted when you power on the PC. Most boards won't even power up with the jumper at the reset position.

try taking it all apart then putting it back together, last time my pc keopt going on and off was because it was shorting due to something stuck under motherboard.

If its overclock related, sounds like its struggling to go back to stock settings, in which case I dunno what to suggest. You need to somehow reset the overclock.

Ok I followed the steps, took power cord off... Put jumper on 2-3 to clear cmos. Then I move the jumper back to 1-2 and then here is the problemo. ): when I plug the cord back on the power supply the pc turns on with out me even hitting the power switch. And once on I can't turn it off unless I turn offf the power supply switch behind power supply.... So I'm stuck lol oh and when it turns on by itself nothing comes on, on the screen.

Update. I did the same thing but this time not using my gpu. And it booted up the same but this time the screen is working. The 1st thing the screen said was cmos was not loaded or something like that so it said press f1 to load the rugular bios. So it went to windows I restarted it thru the pc and it restarted fine. Now I turned it off and now it won't turn on again seems I have to do the same thing over again. I think its time for a new pc lol
