Which Projects?

So I just started Boincing yesterday and I added primegrid for my gpu and Milkyway for my cpu. I was wondering if my computer would be suited to other projects?

Also I can't run 24/7. Only when I am at home so I don't expect huge numbers but everything helps right?

Since your GPU supports double precision, you might want to run both MilkyWay@Home and PrimeGrid on GPU and free up for the CPU for a project that is CPU-only. There are tons of projects for CPUs, there's isn't a wrong pick or one that is the best for your CPU. Just read about some of the projects and choose to run the one that you like best.

I agree with the boss on GPU tasks! Run PG and MW both!

Also, you could have a look at the spreadsheet. There is a 4.2GHz 955 there that would match yours I think.

You can get an idea of different project tasks times/points there. Scroll down the CPU sheet; 955 near bottom.

Thanks a bunch guys!

Now that I have switched seems Milkyway is taking priority even though Prime is set to twice the priority in Boinc manager. Everything milkyway has is seen as high priority in tasks. Any idea why Prime is being put on the back burner?
