deleted DATA partition

Thread Starter
hi,
so I was installing windows 7 on the computer of my mother but there was a DATA partition so I deleted guessing it would give back the 150GB to the first and main partition....so it was categorized ' Unallocated''
So now I only see one partition and it's the primary one but only contains 148Gb ...still missing the 150Gb from the DATA disk I deleted!
Help

thank you

Windows has a partition manager, you should be able to add it pretty easily.

You actually deleted the partition, you did not format it if you get "unallocated". To get the main partition to have those extra GBs you have to extend the partition, you can do it though windows in the Storage Management tool.

ok so I guess the tool is named Disk Management as it's the only one there for the disks...
I can see my unallocated partition... do I have to click on NEW SIMPLE VOLUME...
