u2311h question

Thread Starter
Hey guys i wanted to know if right now I am gaming on a 16.5" 1080p laptop screen if i would notice the difference between the u2311h and say this Asus monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236079 I know the differences between IPS and TN panels and have read a couple reviews on the dell. Is it worth $100 extra for the dell then the Asus? Is in real life the differences that substantial?
Please only post if you have experiance with either monitor! Thanks

I have no experience with the ASUS, but I do have 2 of the U2311H's and they work great for me. In fact, I'm planning on getting a third when desk-space allows.

I also have a 2209wfa and it's nice, but I was getting headaches looking at it all day. I had heard that the IPS were better for this and it definitely seems to have helped. YMMV

Hope this helps,

Rich

U2311H review

haven't found a reliable review of the VH232H, but there is a video here:

I personally have 3x U2311H in surround, and the viewing angles are fantastic! And i also love the white's that it can display as opposed to the off-white/yellow of your average TN. Colour reproduction on the U2311H's are phenominal as well!

hrm i hate this im suck a sucker for things that are just a little bet better... i guess thats why company keep making new products with little changes for people like me... Ive been gone all day but i just listened to that video and that monitor looks good actually and its super cheap in price and quality it seems thought the panel seems pretty decent

edit: seems the u2311h has gone up on price by around $40 on amazon used to be like 260 or something now its 310... price jacking much?
