Ive got $250 to spend on GFX cards...

Thread Starter
first off newegg's got $10 off alot of GFX cards this weekend...

so having seen the high ppd/watt+$ of the 400 and 500 seris cards im looking at picking some up! also looking at the EVGA cards because of the trade up program lifetime warrinty and that if fold enough for um... you get discounts

so the choice is tween a pair of GTS450's http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130679

a single 460 and maybe with a 450 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130566

or a single GTX560Ti ... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130604

ive got 2 separate boxs that could use GFX cards... (currently a 7900gs and a 9600gt) and both try to game from time to time...

will be pulling the trigger tomorrow. and much thanks!

Just get a 460 Hawk

Apart from the downclocking-after-pausing-folding problem I've been having, the 560 Ti is a wonderful card.

I'd just snatch a 460 Hawk, i dont really see much of an improvement over the 460 with the 560. All i see is a price difference, get the Hawk

EDIT: Or a used 470, like above said

The 6950 should be in that range, but I'm guessing the ppd doesn't compare with nVidia cards?
